Rules for Fly Pattern Database
We encourage Maineflyfish.com users to share their fly recipes. If you wish to share your patterns, please follow the following rules:

  • Please do not upload any patterns or photos without permission. If you find a pattern on another, Contact Us and we will see if we can get permission to include it at Maineflyfish.com. If any fly patterns violates copyrights, please contact us and we will remove the pattern.
  • Please take good pictures of your flies and steps. Make sure you keep each photo size to under 250kb. If you need a resizing tool, try this one.
  • Your images will be resized to 800px by 531px to conserve space and for formatting purposes.
  • When you list your materials, list them in the order that you tied the fly so that the recipe order comes is displayed correctly.
