Dragonfly Muddler

This is the Dragonfly Muddler pattern which was originated by the late Ed Reif. Very effective in ponds and lakes that have population of dragonflies.

Recipe:

• Hook: Mustad 9672 (Size 6 to 10)
• Thread: Uni-Thread 6/0 Olive
• Tail: Olive Maribou
• Body: Olive Wool or Chenille
• Wing: Wide Hen Neck Feather - Grizzly Dyed Olive
• Head: Spun Olive Deer Hair

Note: Can be weighted or unweighted. I fish it unweighted with a sinking line with a 2 ft leader so the fly will be off the botton and above the weeds.
