There might be some action at my favorite beach tomorrow morning.

Gonna hit a salt pond early (0400) and then hit its outflow as the tide drops. Juvenile herrin' should be active there and should bring some nice bass out to play. Givin' it a shot anyways.

I don't understand this at all.  Where the heck are these fish??

Went to a non-Maine location a couple days ago, and despite reports of zero fish I managed half a dozen keepers in three hours time.  I went with no expectations at all but just to get out and about.  That being said, you never know where or when.  Just gotta keep at it.  Better than sitting at home thinking about fishing.

Mal

We fished just outside your salt pond in those gale force winds and rain after you guys decided to call it a day.  Total catch was eight fish and nothing even worth talking about. Our buddy Kim decided it would be a wonderful day to fish...lol.  He must have thought there would be no fishing pressure and on that note he was correct.

To top off the miserable weather, the replacement waders I used while the aqua seal cured on my good waders didn't leak,it was a damned flood!  When I got to the depth in the area where my legs joined, it was at that moment the total extent of just how bad things had become.  When we left for the long walk back I looked like the Michelin Man.
