Herring numbers look pretty healthy, no?

Funny I was just looking at the numbers yesterday to see what the salmon count was. 840 isn't great but I believe that is higher than it has in the past. I hope for a day we can fish again for them in Maine.

Very interesting to see the evolution of the Atlantic salmon population in the Penobscot. The general decreasing tendency look a lot like what's happening in the rivers around here.

What a drop between 2011 and 2012! In Quebec 2011 was also an exceptionnal year and 2014 the worst in recent history.

didn't know the penobscot had white catfish, cool.

cusk is surprising too.

I've read the returns to the a certain tributary of the Kennebec R. have been increasing for 4 years straight, where they have been planting salmon eggs.
