The whole Moosehead Lake region got a grant and there are new signs every where

Classy, but it doesn't feel quite right. Needs a couple rounds of buckshot to make it more authentic. ;)

Depending on just how much....would like to see $$$ go to things other than just parking signs.  With highly skilled planning there are 

often things, here & there, in or near trout-filled streams....that can be advantageous to fishery health....ie promotion of more abundant insect health...

such as forest preservation...ie freeze on cutting(just one example)...planting more big rocks in the EO(for healthy trout cover & more size)...or concerted efforts to somehow keep bass, pike, perch and other non-salmonoids at distance in the system(s).  Getting rid of lake trout and perch in Moosehead...(will probably get flamed on some of this stuff:D)

oh there are signs pointing to every pond, river, and mountain from Greenville to rockwood. I here they got a grant to do this

not into it...it just makes it easier for more resource exploitation...I have always liked all things in Maine that flew under the radar and you needed to work at it to get the inside info.

Does it really matter guys ? With the internet and GPS technology any idiot can get anywhere. These signs just point out the obvious . Nuthin' to get heated ovah.
