but you never know

4/1 is a very busy class day for me, pretty much straight classes fom 10am to 9pm
BUT I wont miss the second for anything. Maybe I'll have more water to myself!!
How do the fish bite in the beginning of the season? is it still usually too cold?

Unless Sebago is entirely open not a chance in hell...why waste your time?
You mean you don't want to fish in 30 to 40 degree day at the Lockes and battle for a spot, get your line tangled with the worm chuckers, and have about a 5% chance of catching a fish? What's wrong with you?

In nearly 40 opening days I've caught exactly two(2) fish. 1987 opening day got to eighty degrees, remember that? I caught a 3 1/2 pound brook trout off the beach at Sebago state park. Then I think it was 1998 i caught a four pound salmon at the locks.Thats it.I believe I'll just stay home.

I'll be on fresh water somewhere April 1st. Then again, I fish the rivers that are open all winter long, usually average a fish or two an outing. The fishing is slow, and you usually lose the feeling in your fingers at some point during the outing
but it beats the heck out of staying home
