Mine has been an olive crystal bugger. Had great luck in the fall and this spring with it. Thought it might be fun to hear all the different go to flies everyone has.

Pheasant tail, Caddis larvae, rabbit hair(?) (may fly nymph) , Stone fly nymph, all 20-16's. (I'm new, please excuse the proper FF lexicon)

Hares ear nymph would be mine. find myself nymphing alot have alot of luck on the soft hackle hares ear as well.

Along with the Hare's Ear nymphs already mentioned (I tie them in olive, olive/brown, natural, and gray) a Copper john is also a killer LLS nymph. When caddis are hatching I have good luck on EHC and Corn Fed Caddis patterns. ;)

My 2 best dries on the WB last year were the royal stimmy and muddler wood special.

Is that a muddler and woods special or a muddler wood special? I cannot locate a pattern for a muddler wood special on the internet.
