those are both good trout waters. the otter ponds in standish would be good too. Delorme has lake and pond depth maps for each county, which lists the species for each body of water- look for the ones with trout and try em out.  plenty of brookie ponds,though you would have to hit sebago for salmon.


Thanks - I'll try those out.  I ended up in Rangeley last weekend - had some success on ponds up there, and saw some good action at Upper Dam even though we only had an hour in the water before heading south.   Didn't bother trying the Kennebago; figured the water was too low and too warm.
