Dead River Rough CutHave you ever wanted a glimpse into the old ways of Maine? Or a time before the internet, Facebook and Twitter? A time in Maine when times were tough and winters were long? Dead River Rough Cut takes you back in the 70's with two Maine trappers who had some great insight into the world and their surroundings. Bob Wagg and Walter Lane teach us that sometimes it is the simple things in life that make us appreciate what we have. No need for fancy cars and a big house to enjoy life. Bob teaches us how to save money by pulling our own teeth and gives us warning of those awful credit cards.
This film is not in HD and is not suited for kids, but a great film from the 70's. I highly recommend you find a copy and add it to your collection. It is a film you will go back to through the years and watch. I know you will be showing it to family and friends from away.
Make sure you watch the the interview with Bob Wagg near the end of his life. It really brings the whole movie together. I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did.
