On ‎7‎/‎26‎/‎2017 at 5:41 AM, Kevin McKay said:

What are you hearing about fish numbers?

everyone is saying there are no fish

No news of any fish yet.

Within the next month I will start monitoring the lake reports off of Mexico, NY

Once there it is only a matter of time before the salmon stage off the estuary.

When that happens and we have the kind of flows they have been experiencing, the run will be on.

DSR REPORT

Fishing Report 7/28/17
7/28/2017
Finally some activity to report - We had a handful of fishermen get out on the Run today and had reports of decent sized  smallies (14 in) being caught, plenty of fallfish, and even a couple of rainbows! Sunny with a light breeze made for a beautiful day, and 3 bald eagles were sighted in the lower end. Water flows are scheduled to remain at 185cfs through midnight Saturday, and tomorrow looks like another perfect day with temps in the mid 70s and no rain expected! The water temperature this morning was 65F.

DSR REPORT

fishing report 29 Jul 17
7/29/2017

A warm (mid 70s), calm, sunny day - CFS 185 / 289, water temperatures started at 64 and rose to 68 later in the day - for five hours two clients scouted and worked the middle to lower sections of the run, swinging white muddlers, to see if any salmon have started to move in - caught fall fish, but no sightings of anything else - the 9 month season passes are effective on 15 August - we have a handful available for immediate sale, without any wait listing
