Ice out any where?

Recommended Posts

Almost. Some  locals went ice fishing and one fell through the ice. The others luckily did not. No one was hurt but the ice was so punky that rescuers had trouble getting to the guys.

So the  ice is almost out. One river is about clear of ice just have to walk through lots-o-snow to get to it. I hear Fiji is ice free.

Gardner Lake in East Machias (3800 acres)  was mostly open a week ago and I haven't been past it since then. It is only 4 miles from the coast.
