T&T Exocett Review

Recommended Posts

T&T released the Exocett in 2017 as their flagship saltwater series. Since then, the Exocett has been a staple saltwater rod in the quiver of many anglers and has endured as one of the highest performing rods on the market. The Exocett has been put to the test time and again in the past year and still outranks much of the competition. Read on via the link below to find out why the T&T Exocett has stood the test of time in the ever-changing saltwater fly rod market.

I'm sure it's an awesome rod, but "stood the test of time" might be a bit of a stretch for a model that's a year old.

The Exocett rods have been used by the Alphonse Fishing Company in the Seychelles.  Rods were put to the test landing monster GTs and 140 Yellowfin Tuna.  The rods were bent to the max and never broke.  They have also been used in Africa landing African Tiger Fish.  No issues.

These are very remote locations so one would want the best rods that will stand up to big fish and extreme conditions. I would say that after a year of use under some of these conditions they qualify for the test of time and more.
